FAQ
- Why are Music Downloads only available in MP3 format? MP3 is the most widely compatible music file format and is supported by most media
applications, hand-held music devices, and some CD and DVD players. Our MP3 format also provides you with the freedom to transfer music you
buy at the AfricanMP3s.com store to any device you'd like or copy it to a CD without restrictions of any kind.
- Which computer operating systems are compatible with AfricanMP3s.com? You can buy songs from any computer with a Web browser capable of
downloading files from the Internet. The MP3 files you purchase will download directly to your computer and are compatible with any system
that can read the MP3 music format.
- What types of payments do you accept? We accept Paypal and Credit Cards. eChecks are not currently supported.
- How do I get my music once I have purchased it? You will be provided with a link to download your purchase immediately after payment.
Our download manager (under development) will make the process even easier, helping you keep track of your MP3s and allowing you to complete
interrupted downloads.
- What is your refund policy? Once you have successfully downloaded your purchase we cannot process a refund.
- What if I lose my music? Within the first 36 hours of purchase, you can download the file up to 3 times. After this period, contact us
at info@africanmp3s.com in order to receive another opportunity to download your purchase. After you
have successfully downloaded the file to your computer at the time of purchase, we recommend that you create a backup copy.
- What if I have trouble downloading my MP3 purchase? If you are unable to download your purchase we will promptly provide a refund.
- Are there any restrictions on how I use the music I purchase? All purchases are subject to our terms and conditions and international copyright law.
- Why isn't music from my favorite recording artist available for download? We are constantly working to add artists to our database.
Please email us at info@africanmp3s.com if there is particular artist or son that you would like us to add.
- What do I do if I don't have an MP3 player? You will need a media player installed on your computer (like iTunes or Windows Media Player)
or a hand-held MP3 device to enjoy your African MP3.com downloads. If your computer is not currently equipped with a media player, you can visit
our Downloading a Media Player Help page for more information on compatible media players.
- Why is the availability of some songs and albums different from the CD version? Record companies do not always have the rights to sell
all the songs on a CD individually. This may be at the request of the artist or due to other contractual reasons. Additionally, digital
versions of an album can sometimes contain bonus tracks not available on the CD, and sometimes the CD has tracks not available on the digital
version. Record companies control what tracks are made available on specific formats, and African MP3 will offer all tracks made available for
sale.
